The HSL Color Mixer brings the professional color-grading panel found in Lightroom and Capture One straight to your browser. Instead of shifting every color at once, it splits the color wheel into eight bands — red, orange, yellow, green, aqua, blue, purple and magenta — and lets you adjust the Hue, Saturation and Luminance of each one independently. Want a bluer sky without touching skin tones? Deepen and saturate just the blue and aqua bands. Want autumn foliage to pop? Push the saturation and shift the hue of the yellows and greens. Each pixel's color is blended smoothly between the two nearest bands, so adjustments transition naturally with no hard edges, and a color you don't touch is left exactly as it was. The maths runs locally with the Canvas API, so there is no quality loss, no watermark, and your photo never leaves your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an HSL color mixer?
An HSL color mixer lets you adjust the Hue, Saturation and Luminance of individual color ranges in a photo — for example making only the blues more vivid, or only the greens lighter — rather than shifting the whole image at once. It is the same selective color tool found in Lightroom's HSL panel and Capture One's Color Editor.
How is this different from the Hue/Saturation tool?
The Hue/Saturation tool shifts every color in the image by the same amount. The HSL Color Mixer is selective: it has eight separate color bands, so you can saturate a blue sky while leaving red flowers and skin tones completely untouched.
Will adjusting one color affect the others?
Only at the boundaries. Each pixel is blended between the two nearest color bands, so a pure blue is driven entirely by the Blue band while a blue-green pixel is shared between Aqua and Blue. Colors far from the band you edit are left byte-for-byte unchanged.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The entire HSL adjustment is computed in your browser with the Canvas API — your image is never uploaded, there is no sign-up, and the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
